BELTED KINGFISHER, my only regional tick of the year was the star bird (thank you Sir Roger of Ingestre) but it was in the best inland county STAFF,S.!!!!! Other highlights were finding my own White-winged black tern (Draycote), Grey phalarope (Shustoke) & Arctic skua (Blithfield). All species were B.O.U. no catagory "D", plastic ducks or storks or heard onlys!!!!!!!! |
