| "Another image of the rosy male redpoll with clean undertail coverts. On Tuesday afternoon, this was the bird which was being broadcast as the adult male Arctic Redpoll. This bird has too large a bill - completely lacking the "punched face" jizz and is surely a flammea. One of the 1st winter Arctic Redpolls has one fine and narrow black undertail covert streak - this being constitent with some exilpes indivduals." Mark Thomas | |||
