Halcyon Gambia offer accommodation and great birding. Tours consist of 6 full days’ birding encompassing a wide range of habitats from dry savannah to riverine forest. Holidays run from Tuesday to Tuesday and are full board. Included are all airport transfers, tour transportation in our own 4x4 vehicles and all bird excursions with our own qualified local guides (see detailed itinerary on our website).
Accommodation at Halcyon Gambia consists of traditionally-styled, thatched two-storey round houses, swimming pool and bar area set in secluded landscaped gardens. Fruit trees and a variety of local shrubs and flowers, as well as a small drinking pools for visiting birds, which include Red-billed Firefinches and Red-cheeked Cordon Bleu. 24 hour security on site.
