Dec 31: Little Penguins, appropriately enough on Penguin Island and my final addition for what has been an interesting year. Never set foot outside Western Australia in 2011 and as a consequence this has been my lowest "Australia" total for a few years but my highest ever total for WA. Good Birding to one and all in 2012!

Sept 19: WA - Baudin's Black-Cockatoo, Western Rosella, Red-winged Fairy-wren, Western Wattlebird, Swan River Honeyeater, White-breasted Robin, Red-eared Firetail. Aug 6: Gluepot - Scarlet-chested Parrot, Painted Honeyeater. July 23: Capertee - Little Lorikeet. Feb 21: Gold Coast - Rufous Scrub-bird, Grey Goshawk.
