First-summer female Red-footed Falcon , East Yorkshire, Thorngumbald, June 2020

It sat in a hedge row for 3.5 hours - lovely through the telescope - although it looks like an adult female, its head is creamy; the tertials were brownish; brownish neck collar and buffish underparts - most first-summer birds in May still retain their juvenile outer-tail feathers, but this female has moulted its tail feathers.
