In October 2015, I travelled to Etosha National Park in Namibia. I made the journey that connects the camps of Okaukuejo and Namutoni over ten days, going through Halali and the dozens of ponds existing in this great space and that at the end of the dry season attract hundreds of birds and mammals to stock up on water.
I was able to observe and draw species such as Southern Pale Chanting Goshawk, which, a few meters away, posed in front of me during all the time I needed.

A Crowned Lapwing took refuge from the intense heat of the sun at midday along with a pair of Common Warthog.

In Rietfontaine, there were hundreds of birds - it was permanently possible to observe coming to drink, while very close. One of those species was the African Pipit. Black rhinos and elephants were drinking.

I have since published a book, entitled 'Etosha. Drawing African Nature' illustrated and written by me.
