This trip was primarily a volunteer service trip and family vacation, so birding was only done during limited windows of free time. Locations were limited to:
1) Sorata, Lake Titicaca, La Paz, and areas between them (northern Altiplano) (over 3 weeks here, with almost 2 weeks in Sorata) (note: Rio Challa Suyu valley is immediately ne of Sorata; Palcapampa is southeast of Sorata on the way to Laguna Chillata; Mecapaca is southwest of La Paz)
2) Chalalan Lodge, Rurrenebaque, and the Rios Beni and Tuichi between the two (5 days here) (note: the weather at Chalalan was unusually cold, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s)
