Me and Eirik Grønningsæter (guide, www.wildnature.no) went on a trip for two nights into the forests in Hedmark, eastern parts of Norway. We had one goal, owls. And especially we were hoping for the calls of the Great Grey Owl and Ural Owl who still are scarce inhabitants of the norwegian forests.

We had a fantastic trip, the stars and moon were shining bright and the owls were hooting and singing. Pure magic.

As you can see on the species list below, we got the target species and many more!
