Chile is an incredibly diverse country comprising a variety of landscapes from the majestic Northern Altiplano and Atacama desert to the stunningly beautiful Chilean Fjords. Evergreen Subantarctic Southern Beech woods, Mediterranean forests, coastal wetlands, seashore, coastal range forest, Andean mountain valleys and bogs and Pacific ocean host a range of Chilean endemics like Crag Chilia, Moustached Turca, White-throated Tapaculo, Dusky Tapaculo, Chilean Tinamou, Chilean Mockingbird, Dusky-tailed Canastero and Seaside Cinclodes, and specialties such as Diademed Sandpiper-Plover, Creamy-rumped Miner, Black-billed Shrike-Tyrant, Thick-billed Siskin, Grey-breasted Seedsnipe, White-browed Ground Tyrant, Greater Yellow Finch, Mourning Sierra Finch and others.

Or head offshore to meet the cold waters of the Humboldt Current, considered to be one of the world's finest pelagic birding locations. Species endemic to this system include Humboldt Penguin, Peruvian Diving-Petrel, Peruvian Booby, Guanay Cormorant, Red-legged Cormorant, Peruvian Pelican, Grey Gull and Inca Tern. Other specialties include Northern Royal Albatross, Black-browed Albatross, Salvin´s Albatross, Antarctic Giant Petrel, Hall's Giant Petrel, Southern Fulmar, Cape Petrel, Pink-footed Shearwater, Sooty Shearwater, White-chinned Petrel and Wilson's Storm-Petrel among others.
