Not quite as pale as the bird on 14th, but still obviously different to normal female hibernans.
A regular early spring migrant here, fewer in autumn.
Only stopped a short while but called a lot! Stunning in full summer plumage.
Other than a lightly streaked head this bird showed most of the criteria for 'heinei' ie unmarked white underparts and rump/tail base, bright pink bill base and contrasting dark trailing edge to a white underwing but is probably more likely to be an intergrade 'canus' / 'heinei' than pure 'heinei'. Shame...

A lovely blue sky really shows off their beautiful plumage - the female is slightly duller than the male - their was also a first-winter male
